What does VLT mean?+
Visible light transmission is the percentage of visible light that passes through the combined glass and film. Lower percentages look darker.
Do you install ceramic window tint?+
Yes. SLS installs Solar Gard VortexIR and XenithIR ceramic film. Endeavor is the carbon-based option, and Solstice is the everyday-value line.
What do TSER and Solar IR mean?+
TSER measures how much total solar energy the combined film and glass reject. Solar IR describes infrared performance within the manufacturer’s stated test range. Both vary by film, shade, and vehicle glass.
Does darker tint always reject more heat?+
No. Shade controls visible light, while film construction drives much of the heat performance. A lighter ceramic film can reject more heat than a darker basic film.
What tint shade is legal in Florida?+
Limits vary by vehicle type and window position. SLS can discuss common options, but drivers remain responsible for compliance and should verify current Florida requirements.
